Sun Silo is a four piece art rock group based in Kenosha Wisconsin. Combining elements of psychedelic rock, jazz, progressive rock, and noise music; the group maintains to write and release music with an explorative spirit and expansive creativity.

Formed in March of 2018, the group has recorded and independently released several singles and two full length albums. Sun Silo takes a hands on approach to every aspect of their output. From writing, recording, mixing, mastering, visual artwork, and design; the group produces and arranges all of their own work.

In the wake of the release of their debut album “Paper Cuts”, Sun Silo responded with writing and recording an album entitled “Trillium”. An album that both maintains certain pillars of the band’s sound, while adding elements that were not previously heard. “Trillium” drove the band forward in the direction of deeper, darker compositions that reach for meaning and immaterial experience by way of music and performance.

Prog Sphere writes - “In conclusion, this is what happens when a group of people decide to do whatever they damn well please. Sun Silo created something different for a change. I honestly believe this album has that much “classic” potential, and hopefully some good big people will notice it.”

Additionally, with the incorporation of light projection and handmade stage elements to their live performances, Sun Silo continues to strive to create live experiences that entrance and captivate live audiences everywhere.

their fresh, moody, sensual sounds—best paired with a glass of whiskey neat—you have to come hear it live to believe it. They’re a team of veteran musicians capturing the groove of lonely nights in midwestern dives—the soul of americana
